I know there is a small studio in Chapel Hill that has a couple of artists you'd recognize the name of, but I can only think of Mike Weiringo right now as one of them...

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

'Ringo used to live all of 5 minutes from me... (true) until he got tired of me always asking for sigs and sketches and finally moved to Chapel Hill (half-true, you figure out which half!)

He (as well as Cully Hamner) still seem to be regulars at Heroes Aren't Hard to Find in Charlotte... it might be worth it to get in touch with Shelton and see if he could get a message to either of themslym2none wrote:![]()

it was AWESOME!
keep in mind this is a local, small one day show that was only planned 75 days ago and hasn't been put on in 8 years...
we had 319 people attend...the dealers, guests, and attendee's all had a blast.
dave and paty cockrum told us that anytime they decided to put on another local show they'd absolutely love to come and would be offended if they weren't invited.
now i'm going to watch us on tv...we're going to be on the local 10pm fox news.
my feet hurt up past my knees, i'm tired and sore but had the time of my life.
you guys missed a good one...but don't worry, april is right around the corner.
