While I love Wrightson's work, he wasn't very cool in person. I also was really disappointed the only time I had a day off during this show (meaning a Big Apple show, I know there's one every three months or so, meaning my expectations should be lower, but it just felt so thrown together). But if I can not be working I'll probably go, it's only four subway stops from my primary job.

I am pretty sure I am gonna head to the city for this, hopefully meet up with a few guys and have dinner and whatever.

I am having a hard time finding an affordable room in the city for Friday and Saturday nights. Any of you NYC guys have any suggestions?

Let me know.
I am selling "nothing" on ebay-yet.

I might be there. I travel to White Plains quite bit. If I can schedule a trip that week, I can extend my stay and have my employer pay the air fare!

That figures, we couldn't tear you away from Major Healy from "I Dream of Jeannie" at the April show.

Do you know something that we don't or is that just wishful thinking? I would be all for that as long as Bob Layton was back on X-O with at least some creative control as his version of X-O is my favorite. :)

Maybe Big Jim would even be able to talk BWS into working for the company again... :hm:

I would be all for that for sure! :thumb:

It looks like we'll have to wait another year for another VALIANT reunion type show similar to April. My only problem with not having it in April again is that there is not much going on in NYC in early April and the hotel rates were much less than in November, that's obviously a factor for those who are traveling from other parts of the country. Also, for some of the guys, April is pretty close to tax refund time and that helps a lot. On the contrary, mid to late November has the holidays breathing down on us and extra expenses may be difficult for some of the board members.

It looks like I am gonna fly down to hang out at the National for a couple of days, it looks good right now, but, with my work situation things can change very quickly.

It's those checks we used to get once a year from Uncle Same before we all got married.
