Starting from my roots RAI and so it begins.................

Rai (pronounced "Rye") is a fictional superhero from the Valiant Comics universe. Rai was the first original hero created by Valiant and had its beginning as a flipbook back-up feature in Magnus Robot Fighter issues #5-8. The popularity of the flipbook back-up story later led to an ongoing series. Valiant Entertainment is the current owner of Rai and the rest of the original Valiant Comics characters.

Rai is the spirit guardian that protects the machine nation of Japan in the 41st century. It is a mantle passed down from father to son through the generations. As such the series chronicled a number of protagonists.

In 4001 A.D., a massive machine known as the Host covers the entire island of Japan. Fifty billion Japanese dwell inside this mighty construct, which is, in fact, a single, enormous robot. Rai, whose name means "spirit", is the hereditary defender of the Host - its living "immune system." Rai draws weapons from his own body to protect the people of Japan and his creator Grandmother, the sentient AI robot that controls Japan.

The line of Rai were created by Grandmother in the image of the 20th century hero Bloodshot. She hoped to inspire her people by invoking his heroism. In that respect, the Rais are a direct line of descendants from Bloodshot.

Japan is torn by two waring ideologies. The traditionalists, who believe Grandmother should continue controlling every aspect of life; and the extremist Anti-Grannies, who want to destroy Grandmother and believe that Japan should begin caring for itself.

Thanks for more thoughtful insight but if you guys haven't noticed the signups end up going to newbs as well. Because of the lack of interest. So their is no reason NO reason to post useless info.

Does anyone not know that the money that goes for the signups is for charity? All money should be good in this case and if I was trying to pad posts I could easily go to each and every post and do a :thumb: like certain people as 50 to 500 would be easily attainable!

I think it is about time we put down the hatoraid.

Special shoutouts to D-Lite & Acc205 & Rufus thanks for killing my thread. The reason why I even came to the site. :censored:

Slym as always your 2cents are appreciated :P Not try to take credit for anything its forum post what you want..........Great! Now I am late work thanks guys go team go! .......................WonderHaters Activate

Look, I have nothing personal against you, but to come on these boards and try to compare your posts to someone else's in any way was in poor taste. Especially when, as noted, you weren't really responsible for the content of the posts you wanted to compare with another board member's entire "life" here.

Slym's right. IMO, in the interest of the board, you should consider editting some of those comments.

Slym your an alright dude, thats why I said I appreciated your 2 cents :thumb: Karma catches up with everyone and everything ten fold. I'll let nature take it's natural course.........I just don't appreciate when people who pretty much know nothing about me then try to tell me what to say and what not say then try to classify relative content as SPAM! Then go way off topic and question a post count for something.....

Anyways I am going to plagiarize the hockey puck out of good well written articles that relate to posts........

Dude, simply copying and pasting doesn't make what you say insightful, it means you have nothing to say. Particularly when you just cut and paste and act like it's your own.

And honestly I have no problem with the topic or even referencing other sites at all. But all of your posts are either one liners or copied articles. And if one just looks at any section of the forums you did a carpet bombing of posts, one in each topic, just to make an appearance. Not all is quippy, but come on.

And even at that I could care less, but if you want to call me out then you should really think before doing so since you've got nothing on me in that regard. I'm not looking for any problems but I just felt I needed to call you out for what was obviously spamming to hit 50. And now your next batch of posts seems to be merely to show that "hey, I'm not just here to get my 50 posts and access to the deals. Just look at how much I contribute!"

Just post when you have something to say, not just to say something for the sake of posting. Sorry if it sounds harsh, but I'm here for the content and the entertainment, not the canned fake meat.

Here's one way to get the posts you need:

viewtopic.php?t=6029&start=4752&postday ... highlight=

Just remember to follow the rules of the thread or some people here will be very much disappointed.

A. Dude, simply copying and pasting doesn't make what you say insightful, it means you have nothing to say. Particularly when you just cut and paste and act like it's your own.

B. And honestly I have no problem with the topic or even referencing other sites at all. C. But all of your posts are either one liners or copied articles. D. And if one just looks at any section of the forums you did a carpet bombing of posts, one in each topic, just to make an appearance. Not all is quippy, but come on.

E. And even at that I could care less, but if you want to call me out then you should really think before doing so since you've got nothing on me in that regard. F. I'm not looking for any problems but I just felt I needed to call you out for what was obviously spamming to hit 50. G. And now your next batch of posts seems to be merely to show that "hey, I'm not just here to get my 50 posts and access to the deals. Just look at how much I contribute!"

H. Just post when you have something to say, not just to say something for the sake of posting. Sorry if it sounds harsh, but I'm here for the content and the entertainment, not the canned fake meat.

A. You may be confused I didn't say anything in the post. I posted content related to the topic. I never said it was mine I didn't want to clutter the content in post just yet with my poor grammer. I was feeding the post as I was reading just once a day with excellent content. (until you derailed)

B. Yes you do thats why you commented.

C. No they are not! Out of the 50 posts I had posted only (3) that were cut from a large article. I posted only relative content that pertained to the topic instead of posting a link that perhaps only 50% of the people would of read and did all the filtering so they got 100% concentrate. There are better ways for me to spam if I wanted I could of done it and got to 50 if that was goal in day (1). I am not here for that.

D. Carpet Bombing? I believe If you read an entire thread you should post your comments to it (anything else would be unfair to the poster)! That is what the forum is for, not sure if you knew that or not. I have spent at least 3-5 hours a day in here reading since my inception to the boards. Trying to meet and learn about the community. Should I only post once for every ten threads I read, I think not? Valiantfans.com might as well be IRAQ because I am the US and as long as I can see. I will carpet Bomb this entire forum to the best of my ability! That is why I am here!

E. Of course I am going to call you out. FACT: You ruined my thread for me. If you wanted to be cool you could of sent a PM and said hey if thats not your own words post a link or say quote someone or comment in thread where the material came from. Instead of learning my purpose you chose to insinuate and accuse.

F. Yes you are! Obviously spamming? My friend that is deflamatory (why I took offense and acted out in ways I probably shouldn't). None was spam I was/am posting what I wanted for the benefit of the entire board my posts were 100% related to the topic. Easier ways to get in the club I have kids that could do this for me if I chose.

G. All my posts have been like that you just attacked me when I was a few days into the forum. "HANG THE NEWBIE" Not cool.

H. Just post when you have something to say? I have lots to say thats why I joined the forum if you think I am going to only post 3 times a day a couple times a week not going to happen...............It took you 3 days to respond so I see where you coming from. Popping in to say hey whats up every now and then, thats cool thats all you. Do as you want the forum is for everyone.

BOTTOM LINE: Please refrain from slandering people you don't know before you get the facts. Try bringing out the good in people not the bad, help when you can, teach if their willing, only state facts as accusations are unwarrented that often leave the accuser looking bad.

After all is said and done have a good day. No love lost may you prosper in valiant and have a valiantful day all day every day :thumb:

I think we should just let it drop and get on with it. No offense was honestly intended on any thing, just that having been a moderator at other sites I'm used to being trigger happy with prolific posting. I know you were trying to add some content, just want to see referral to the original article (this is standard on any message board, not trying to be a jerk about it).

Continuity...
Overall, I liked it. Don't know where I would rank it.
Next week I am going to finish the XO up to unity.
