Hay I thing it was a good deal even if its only VG. It looked like it was Centered to me. Any one else?

David
It WAS centered, but it wasn't in VG, it was at least VF/NM. The condition mentioned at the top of the listing is misleading, the auction description lower down actually describes the book as NM, but with a slight cover imperfection. Looked pretty good to me! :thumb:

Thanks Depluto. :thumb: I just took a quick look and thought I seen it was centered and than closed and was to lazy to go back.

got 300 new valiants including 24 rai 3's, 15 magnus 12's, 15 rai 2's and 5 rai 4's all for $20. Had 5 cgc rated. Results were 2 - 9.8 centered rai 3's, 1 - 9.6 centered rai 3 and 2 -9.6 rai 4's. Not too shabby!

Just got this in the mail today.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1

The Harbinger #1 is a solid 9.6.
The Rai #9 is actually a VVSS, although it does not have the certificate.
The XO #1 and #4 are both 9.8 candidates.
The HARD Corps #5 is the Comic-Defense version.

I didn't have high hopes for this batch, considering I didn't get pictures of the books prior to bidding. But I think this turned out well.

Nice lot! I keep a wary eye on these, but the last one I did paid off well.

that was a bold BIN, glad to see it worked out. I could see in a lot like that the Harbinger #1 being a Harbinger Files #1. I've seen that happen before.

Knowing Jedi, he's cleaned all the shops out of the good stuff for a 100 mile radius.

ah, I've got enough VALIANT books, anyway. I still love them, but I don't make a major effort to buy them anymore.

Luckily for me, Jedi doesn't collect undergrounds. I found some real bargains at a shop in the area. Can't wait to check out some of the other shops out there.

I don't hit the shops like I used to (mainly because the distance to the ones I haven't been to is getting longer), but I still find myself unable to resist looking for Valiant bargains.
