Not when they're up against Magnus, Solar, and X-O.

But Archer & Armstrong? You guys really like A&A that much? More than Harby? I mean Harby was pretty darn good...

A&A was very well written and has a pretty good following around here, but you're right, it is surprising to see it beat Harby that bad.

If you read the posts in this thread than you know that the voting is wrong. It's the whole run of a book not just the great early issues. The only book that stayed strong until the end was Shadowman. Archer and Armstrong was great for twelve issues. Harbinger was great for 13. Magnus, Solar and X-O maybe a few more than that. Only Shadowman never sucked thanks to the man Bob Hall.

interesting idea... but i don't know how to do it.

Voted for Solar but suprised its on top. Figured that A&A would do well and Harby would not. The target audience for Valiant was older with the exception of Harby and since many of us here are in our 30's, or older :D , it makes sense. Besides, it was a great series.

I am shocked at the votes for Archer and Armstrong. IMO, this was the WEAKEST of all Valiant titles and I read it merely for the basis of saying that I 'read' all of the Valiant books. I think that I enjoyed Punx more than A&A.

Thats just my opinion though and opinions are like @ssholes... everybody has one and they all stink. 8-)

not so fast my friend...you said best title start to finish...then rai should win...rai 1-8...then the title changed to something else!!!

boo-yah!

but yeah, if that doesn't count, then i shoulda voted for shadowman because it was the best start to finish...

if they woulda canceled a and a after BWS left, it would win.

there's my stink. :thumb:

I do think Eternal Warrior was good for 20+ issues. But maybe my judgment is clouded since I like the premise of the books.

A&A is a good read but I never found much depth in it. Nothing like Solar or Shadowman.

By the voting it looks like Solar. From the comments it sounds like Shadowman was the best "entire run" title but then again there weren't that many comments on Solar. I just completed buying my run of Shadowman so I'll have to see how it plays out. Next from the comments I hear A&A was great but after issue 12, without BWS it started to decline. Since this is a poll on the entire run, which even though I think that fact was missed by a lot of people, the final results should be viewed as such. I've kept this poll up indefinetly to see how things play out in the long run. I may post another poll that will be more open but not the entire run. I wanted to run a pre Unity only poll but since that wouldn't include A&A, and Shadowman would be limited I hesitate on doing that.
