What is your favorite Valiant title?

Shadowman is a VERY consistent run on books. It always has been.
While we oooh and ahhhhh over Valiant over a decade after their demise, I say that MOST Valiant books end VERY poorly, to the point of making you sick. While, Shadowman on the other hand was treated with dignity and respect unlike lets say X-O. I understandy WHY it ended like that but MAN... I sat there with my mouth open, then went out and killed a few kittens I was so mad.

Definitely suprised that X-O is doing well in the poll considering how bad it got toward the unmerciful end of its run. Shadowman from start to finish may have been the most consistent of the all the titles but it never had that 10-12 issue run that was simply amazing like Solar, Magnus, and to a lesser extent A&A. Best thing about reading the SM run is that the low points were never very low (comparatively speaking). If only all the other titles had been so dependable.

I think quite a few Valiant titles STARTED off very well. But ended poorly which is why it was SO disappointing. My fav starts were (in order)
Magnus
X-O
Solar
Shadowman
Bloodshot (which kept my interest for the whole Vanhoon and Perlin run)
Rai
HARD Corps (I am sure to get a lot of flak for this one but hey, I am an Army guy so a military book suited me)
And noteworthy of my list here... I am a die hard Bloodshot fan but still the titles that I rank before Bloodshot were (a word that I do not often use)... 'magical'.

<snort> nice dave...very nice...dave wrote:if we're only going by consistency then you would have to say psi-lords.
that was a title that you could count on month after month-and never once did it accidently stray-and become good...huh? oh you want consistently good, right, gotcha...

Why waste time learning, when ignorance is instantaneous?
