"Dear John-

Okay, Comicology.TV will be filming the Valiant Panel at the NYCC on Sunday, Feb. 25th at 12:00 in the "E" section..

We will be setting up a studio in Artist’s Alley (Booth A106) and conducting interviews with artists, writers, and editors who wish to promote and discuss their upcoming projects on the show. This is the first such media booth of its kind to be set up at a major convention as far as I can recall.

We're setting up 1/2 hour time slots throughout the show hours (Fri 10-9, Sat 10-8, Sun 10-5). So, (again as we talked about) we’d like to request appointments with the following former Valiant Creators to discuss their work and upcoming projects:

Sean Chen

Bernard Chang

Tommy Lee Edwards

Anthony Castrillo

Yvel Guichet

Rodney Ramos

Of course, if I’ve missed any others who will be attending, feel free to add anyone to the list that you’d like. And of course, if there’s something I need to know about, that you feel is newsworthy (like the return of the Valiant characters/universe) please don’t hesitate to let me know. As before, we’ll be happy to get you a DVD copy of the panel, and the artist’s copies of their shows, once they have aired.

This time, I’ll personally check for spelling errors!

Let me know if you have any questions and to book any time slots you’d like to reserve. I assume most of them will want to come up on Sunday after the panel. But slots are filling up quick, so let me know ASAP!

Question:

What does "trade" only mean on Friday? Does that mean what I think- that only those in the biz can go early on Friday?

I am considering going on Friday, but I would like to go early. Any ways that I can get in before 4, or should I just wait because there won't be any booths set up until then?

Buy a domain, cobble together a crappy (could be almost entirely text) website about comic gossip, get some business cards printed up and get a press pass.

Works for San Diego.
