There are 2 covers and a WWLA Variant.

Remember, should only be short term hype so don't pay too much.

I just picked up a copy, and got an extra one for the office. It's well written like all the recent Cap stuff. Hard to tell where they are going, but Brubaker and Epting are a fantastic team.

During the early to mid 90's, comic speculation was riding high. Greed was a *SQUEE* and publishers decided to capitalize on this by increasing the print runs to insane numbers and printing variant covers. DC continued to fuel the speculation by killing off Superman. Of course it all came back and bit them in the arse as supply exceeded the demand. That's what led to the great market collapse of the 90's. Til this day, the market never fully recovered and yet...we see history repeating itself again...

There were at least a few variants for the Supes #75. The bagged one, the newstand, and I think a Platinum variant. Possibly more, but I haven't looked for awhile. Not to mention a few printings of the newstand version.

With one MAJOR, MAJOR, MAJOR exception that completely alters the situation:

Print runs are 1/10th to 1/100th OR LESS (yes, you read that right...80,000 is 1/100th the print run of X-Men #1) what they were in the early 90's.

What was the print run of Dark Tower? A little over 200,000.

That was HALF the print run of a typical issue of Amazing Spiderman in the mid 80's...and Dark Tower #1 was the highest printed book of the month.

Ya know?

They couldn't think of a better way to kill him off than that? At least Supes went out in a blaze of glory fighting Doomsday.

You don't have to wait long to flip, the action is happening as we speak. I just wonder how long it will last. . . .
