TheQuestionMan's Journey of Discovery

Post by TheQuestionMan »

The 90's was great for Comics and I discovered Valiant Comics when my local FLAGS/Comic Shop introduced it to me. I never liked the Collectable Covers and Stuff, but later when I was able to buy whole stories I got hooked.

Eternal Warrior (aka Gilad Anni-Padda) was my favourite. The flashbacks and continuiuty really apealed to me and of coarse that introduced me to... 8-)

Bloodshot (aka Angelo Mortalli) was just too cool and a different take from the Iron Age than anything else.

H.A.R.D. Corps - really made things click for me. :thumb:

After Unity 2000 I thought that it had lost its appeal. I liked the Character and storylines as they were, but obviously Acclaim's and Jim Shooter's alternate universe run ended the love affair.

Today I collect back issues and try to complete my series.

Archer and Armstrong - Full Series
Armorines - Full Series
Bloodshot - Full Series
Eternal Warrior - Full Series
Geomancer - Select Issues
H.A.R.D. Corps - Full Series
Harbinger - Full Series
Magnus, Robot Fighter - Full Series (Valiant anyway)
Ninjak - None
Outcast - None
Psi Lords - None
PunX - None
Rai - Full Series
Second Life of Dr. Mirage - Select Issues
Secret Weapons - Full Series
Shadowman - Select issues
Solar - Select Issues
Timewalker - None
Turok - Select Issues and the Video Games
Unity - None
Visitor - None
X-O Manowar - Select Issues

Glad to have found these Forums. Valiant Fanboy

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Ahhh... No, when I first got online I asked so many questions that my friends hung the name on me.

Thus TheQuestionMan was born.
