Please. Like anyone's gonna look for the ISSUE NUMBER in a search. Whatevah!greg wrote:Well, that and he left the #0 out of the Archer & Armstrong title.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:You didn't seperate "pre" and "Unity", which means people using either of those searches won't find you.Shakespeare wrote:I hope the right two crazy bidder can find it...anyone notice the boneheaded move I made in the title of the auction?

It's got several things going for it... only 25% submitted to CGC have been 9.8.Jay Tomio wrote:I never realized that the A&A was that hot a commodity, but I guess it does make sense from a numbers and point o view and it's even rather significant to the VALIANT U. to boot!
First issue, first appearances... the only pre-Unity Gold issue... BWS art...
...and only 7 (so far) in CGC 9.8... if one ever sells under $100, I want one.

And, am I wrong...the rarest pre-Unity?greg wrote:It's got several things going for it... only 25% submitted to CGC have been 9.8.Jay Tomio wrote:I never realized that the A&A was that hot a commodity, but I guess it does make sense from a numbers and point o view and it's even rather significant to the VALIANT U. to boot!

Can you believe it? I was so careful about everything else that I left the "#0" out of the title! Since most people are looking for "Archer Armstrong Gold" or "Valiant gold," or they'll hear about it through this site, I should be fine...but still!greg wrote:Well, that and he left the #0 out of the Archer & Armstrong title.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:You didn't seperate "pre" and "Unity", which means people using either of those searches won't find you.Shakespeare wrote:I hope the right two crazy bidder can find it...anyone notice the boneheaded move I made in the title of the auction?

I seemed to be shocked? Does that mean I'm not shocked anymore? I was in the past though?GGSAE wrote:You seemed to be shocked at the prices of most/all 9.8 valiants....what do you think this book should go for?cobra_commander wrote:$200![]()
Like I said before I saw one go a year or so ago for about $150. I thought that might've been a little crazy. Obviously not.

23 hours to go, 16 bids, 30 watchers, and 927 views. Quite the hooplah.

Those are some serious numbers for a Valiant auction. Good luck!Shakespeare wrote:23 hours to go, 16 bids, 30 watchers, and 927 views. Quite the hooplah.

Had it occurred to you that perhaps it was an isolated case...a bottom price perhaps that would indicate support for that book at that price?cobra_commander wrote:I seemed to be shocked? Maybe you haven't been collecting valiants very long, maybe you have a whole stack at home, i don't know...but i have about four of these A&A golds i've purchased all at different times at different prices and the best any of them would get is a 9.4. And if i tried to submit all 4 books hoping one would get a 9.6/9.8 the total cost would be far greater than if i just bought this book in 9.6 off ebay. There's a reason there's a premium for 9.8s (especially this book), if i saw it for $150 i would glady pay that price.

Ditto here. It's been a very tough book for me in high grade.GGSAE wrote:Had it occurred to you that perhaps it was an isolated case...a bottom price perhaps that would indicate support for that book at that price?cobra_commander wrote:I seemed to be shocked?
