SDCC Valiant panel info....
Ok this is just the start of announcements for SDCC....
I am still in process of getting guests for the panel and I hope if things work out we will have a few BIG names this year. You will notice the panel has been moved to Friday instead of Saturday. After last years panel I hope we can bring this panel back to what the first one was like...
The Valiant Panel will be held
Friday July 27th
Room 24a
2:30 - 3:30pm
I'm upset to announce that the panel is only going to be an hour long. Moving the panel is a great idea but doing that also put me in a position of having only an hour and not an extra half hour....
The first Guests that have confirmed for the panel
Kevin Vanhook (has confirmed he will be at panel)
Mark Moretti
Jim Calafiore
Mike McKone (he better this time I just bought a *SQUEE* load of his art)
Ashley Wood
Dennis Calero
Andrew Pepoy
Paul Gulacy (should be arriving in time for panel
)
Bob Hall
There are a few others that have asked me not to put them down untill they know for sure...
The list of guests will grow as we get closer.
More updates coming....

There will be a "panel" of "creators" that worked on "VALIANT" books at the "San Diego Comic Con". They will talk and answer questions, and we will bask in the richness of the experience and get freebies at the door.1st Among Equals wrote:wait what is the event u guys r talking about
This is just my inference from past panels at past cons.

From what I remember panels usually have freebies at the door, so what are you giving away?![]()
At the Cartoon Network panel for Space Ghost Coast to Coast I got a CD with music from the show.
At different DC panels I got Platinum copies of comics like Worlds Collide and others, even a Gold Copy of Action Comics #700.
One of the two years I was there, can't remember if it was 94 or 95, VALIANT had a trivia contest at their booth where you could win trading cards you could later use in an auction at a panel they held.
I "think", not sure, that Bob Layton was the guy walking up and down the halls making deals with people. Like "give me your Con badge and I'll give you 20 cards you can use to bid".
I gave him mine but then asked for it back because I didn't have enough cards to bid and wanted to leave, and he was nice enough to give it back even though he said he wouldn't when he asked for it.
