How do people store their art

Post by tssgery »

I was just cleaning up a little, and realized that I have a bit of original art. I'd like to gather it all and store it one place, making sure to protect it.

How do people store their art?

Mylar with acid free backings? I've seen sizes up to 12x18 so it would fit.
Artist portfolios?

Other?[/list]

Me too. You can get these at Hobby Lobby for a decent price. The best way to store art IMO.

No thanks. I'll buy a portfolio... it'll be cheaper. ;)

I don't have much, but I did find a page of Magnus #2 that I forgot I had... as well as a Solar splash page from the VanHooks run (which my avatar is taken from).

I forgot about it because I haven't organized my artwork. I probably have about 10 different pieces... 2 downstairs... 3 in my office... etc...

I know... it sounds stupid... but I just lost track.

The cheapest way to pick these up for me has been eBay or when a craft store (Michaels, AC Moore etc) puts one of the %40 or %50 coupons in their flyer.

Roll it up and slap a rubber band around it.
