Two people have that art and I'm one of them....ManofTheAtom wrote:At the 94 or 95 con there was a guy with a ton of Armorines artwork sitting alone in a table. Looked really cool.betterthanezra wrote:Jim Calafiore

Anyone willing to help a brother out and get me some sketches this year? Seeing how I will not be able to attend.

You're going to SDCC?RyanMcLelland wrote:Well I'll try my darndest to be there at the panel...should be fun. Hopefully doing interviews with peeps like Christina Ricci won't get in the way...(DAMN YOU CHRISTINA RICCI!)
Maybe we can chat about that project we have going if you have time, heh.... that is, assuming you can break away from Christina Ricci, heh

I'll be there for work (Latino Review...not Newsarama) so I'll be spending most of time...interviewing celebs on their movies. JOY! And then picking up indy comics for my 'Your Indy Weekly' column over on Newsarama...promoting my comic Philly (everyone picked that up right? I have copies for sale too since Arcana sent me a big box)...and partying it up!!!!
But I'm game for getting together for beers and such, talking Valiant (my favorite subject)...though it might bore my gf who will be there as well...LOL...

Hey, are you still doing the t shirts?betterthanezra wrote:I know I'm working on this like a dog as of late.....ManofTheAtom wrote:Less than four weeks to go![]()

I wanted to ask you if you could do a special one for me (I'd pay you for it when I saw you).
I had an idea for a red t-shirt like Pete's with the same logo he has that says on the back "I'm a Child of the Eight Day... Are You?"
I also had an idea for a cap that says "Eggbreaker Taskmaster".

The cost for me to do the shirts is going to much bigger then I really want so doing a special one for you could be out of the question....sorry.ManofTheAtom wrote:Hey, are you still doing the t shirts?betterthanezra wrote:I know I'm working on this like a dog as of late.....ManofTheAtom wrote:Less than four weeks to go![]()

I'll tell you that Bob Hall is doing something original for the image work for this shirt for SDCC....Since Bob Hall is going to SDCC I'm looking forward to see how they turn out...

I'd offer but I don't know exactly how much time I'll spend at the con.x-omatic wrote:x-omatic wrote:Anyone willing to help a brother out and get me some sketches this year? Seeing how I will not be able to attend.
I'm going to be at some panels (mostly for TV shows and movies) and don't know how much time I'll spend on the floor.
I'm mostly going to get some clothes, DVDs, and get out of here for a week (and enjoy the con of course).
I don't wanna spend too much in lines

Wow.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comic-Con_ ... _and_dates
July 20-23, 2006
123,000
San Diego Convention Center reached maximum occupancy; potential attendees were denied entry
According to that chart there were only 31,000 people in 94 and 34,000 in 95 when I was there, and that was a LOT of people.
I can't imagine having that many people in that building.
I hope I'm able to come and go without having to wait in line for a long time.
