I may need the Journey into Mystery too, if it's an upgrade for me!

I just grabbed a V vs VU ($2.50 Cover) for .50 here in Corpus Christi, TX. I also was able to get some late run Hard Corps for the same price.

I will be looking to trade the V vs VU.

I was pretty happy with the results of this auction, I have seen these go for considerably more.

Real good for an unopened copy, I wonder if the picture of an opened copy scared some people off.

At first glance I just assumed they meant to say "opened" since they had a picture of the box and the book beside it. I had to read the description be sure.

Went to Shreveport, LA, this past weekend.
(My wife had a work conference there...)

Here's my $17 "haul":

Image

The Magnus 0 is "sun-faded", the Shadowman #43s are "box-bent",
but overall, it's not a bad little stack. (The Valiant Readers were free.)

I've seen that on magnus 12 alot too...idiots show them off for years in the bright light never thinking what damage it's doing to that once high price book...

I bought a Ninjak gold a few years ago that's pretty badly faded, didn't really notice it till I got home and looked at. They must have had that thing in the sun quite awhile to fade a chromium book.....
