It's great. That new Conan book with Mark Shultz illustrations is also awesome.

I found the page you showed above in my copy of Conan #0.
It was 25cents (cover price) at my local comic shop.

That's a great page for 25cents! :)

Bought #0 monthes ago and wasn't too sure about the series.
Just read #1 two days ago and I can't wait for #2! There seems to be a buzz about this book from what I've seen and read online.
Never really was a Conan fan, but if #1 is any indication then I'm in for the long haul!
Thanks Dark Horse!

yes, it is...conan #0 prompted me to buy it, and i'll tell you, those original conan stories are awesome...beautifully written fantasy stories...

it's called "the coming of conan the cimmerrian", it's $14.95 at your local bookstore and i highly recommend it.

Conan and Soloman Kane

And on the back of Conan #1 there is an advertisement for a like volume of Soloman Kane. These stories are moodier than the Conan stories but just as well-written. And the Gary Gianni art within the book is simply outstanding. Coming in June from Del Rey!

Conan #1 sold so quick it looks like that a second printing is being solicitated already. Get the 1st print while you can!

Need Conan #0

Post by Snakemann »

I have always been I big Conan fan. This led me to become a big Barry Windsor Smith fan, which led to me being a big Valiant fan.
The new Dark Horse book is great. Art and writing are top notch.

I missed the #0

Anyone have a bunch of these they want to sell?
I live in southern NM and comic books stores here suck.
I mail order almost everything.
