So wouldn't you know it... I'm not going to be able to make it. And that really upsets me. I have been looking forward to this every since I got a job offer in this area of the country. I've been trying to work it out all week, but it's just not going to happen.
Svair, thanks for getting me on the guest list and mostly for organizing this whole thing. And chainball and jedimarley, thanks for offering up a share of the room. If your travel budgets were relying on that, let me know and I'll still pitch in my 33%.
I was really looking forward to the con and meeting some of the great Valiant talent (especially Bob Hall), but most of all I was looking forward to meeting and hanging out with some of you guys. Missing out on that is what upsets me the most.

Cool seeing you guys today. Couldn't find the valiant table at first. Anyone coming tomorrow, I hear the valiant table is on floor 18, but ask at the front first since plans can change. Thanks to John and the gang for putting this together, can't wait for tomorrow.
Not many valiants out on the floor(not even commons). I just got a unity tpb boxset of 4 for $20, that was it.

The setup was moved around a bit today....we had artists upstairs and downstairs...
Bob Hall came by and was extremely busy doing sketch's...Charles Barnett III was pencilling away for some fans...Bernard was talking to everyone who stopped by as he pencilled away on next years project...(yes, I already started it)...Sean was trying to get all his penguins in a row....(sorry...all the sting penguins are gone!..)Grace Lu (recent colorist for the book came by and was signing )...Andy Covalt brought a stack of color pages and they started going right away....Stu Suchit hung out and signed books....Pete Palmiotti, Kevin VanHook, Carol VanHook, Louis Small Jr. all stopped by to say hello and find out about tmrw's panels....
more to come tmrw....
I took some pics...I'll post tmrw night..

By the way it's really cool meeting all you guys there, and all the artists!

Today and tommorrow should be very cool!
