Should Wolverine be in 4 Teams?

Post by jordan silo »

Can anyone here tell me if Wolverine should be in 4 different teams? Being in Uncanny X-Men, Astonishing X-Men, New Avengers and X-Men? As well as to explain why?

I'll start off! :D In my OPINION! It depreciate the quality of the character! For example, having 5 Punisher titles! I like Wolverine and no doubt many here does too. But utilizing him too much? I don't know, I feel he is being too used! :!:

No Way!! Wolverine should be in his own book and one X book at a maximum.

I feel that Marvel is starting to put out way too much crap like they did in the early 90s. Book quality will go down in the near future as will sales. Just another reason for me to start collecting only back issues and leaving the overpriced crap on the "new book - same old story" shelves there.

Sure. Think of this frightening thought: Clone Saga part 2. It'll get there soon enough.

There wasn't a new Marvel Superhero #1 from 1964 til 1968. Before that, there were 7 new #1's and 4 'revamps' (monster/weird titles becomign superhero) from 1961-1964. In all of the 1960's, there were only 17 new superhero '#1's' for Marvel, and a handful of 'horror' (Chamber of Darkness) type #1's.

Think that was by accident? ;)

Marvel has 17 new titles a year now.

Oy.

Still...it's not quite as bad as 1993.....yet.

as long as fanboys continue to buy books with Wolverine in it, then Marvel will put him in as many teams as possible. X-Men, New Avengers, Ult. X-Men, Wolverine, one-shots, team-ups.... get used to it.

I dont like it that he is in so many titles, so much so that I dropped his solo book. Just how many times can he save the Earth in different books ? The Canuck has ONE helluva month...
It's too bad you dropped the Wolverine monthly because the current story is worth the read.
