Anyone read American Century?

I've heard that the American Century series is good. I've been a fan of some of Howard Chaykin's work in the past, but before I dropped $20 on the series I would like some opinions...

Anyone?

I enjoyed it. I picked up the first few story arcs and thought they were worth reading again.
