Man, I'm really excited. I've been reading comics since around 1989, but never got into Valiant because, well, I was 14 at the time, and was more impressed with Image and Marvel because of the artwork. But, I just recently discovered the Valiant Universe (now I am almost 30), and can't get enough of it. I haven't read anything after Unity, but the stories are amazing. Jim Shooter was definitely on top of this game.
I am not sure of the possibilities, but I really hope they release the Solar Alpha and Omega story as a Hardcover. In my opinion, one of the BEST stories from that period. BWS' artwork is quite possibly the best he's done, up to that point.
Hopefully Random House and Valiant can come to an agreement to re-release the Valiant Solar issues.
