Shooter can sure write him some of dem der comic books.
Ok. Is there more of a descriptor if I asked someone to find them for me?
Meaning, is there like Vol. #1, or is it "west coast LOSH"? or just LoSH #37-39?
Thanks C-lo.
Maybe I can find some on the cheap.

The "current series" is Volume FIVE. EIGHT if you count the fact that Legion Lost, Legion Worlds, and "The Legion" are just continuations of the series.Elveen wrote:Chiclo wrote:"current series" should be enough. So I have read Powers That Be #1-6 and Star Seed #7.....
Wow. They are some great reading. Just really super.
I know there is only a handfull of Broadway books..... but what I have read so far is really, really good.
If you have not read yourself some Broadway..... get them and read them.
Broadway Comics = " Learn it. Know it. Live it."

So I just read all of the Acclaim Eternal Warriors books.
The were pretty good........ not great, but ok.
Once I was able to disconnect the "Eternal Warriors" from the VH1: Gilly, Aram, Archer, and Ivar.... is was not bad
Maybe somewhere between a 6.5 out of 10.
Better than a majority of the late VH1 books, but not in the same ball park as the O.G.s.
I think one of the keys to reading and enjoying the Acclaim books is being able to disconnect from the VH1 books.
I do not think that Accliam books (that I have read) are in the same ball park as the Pre-uni Valiants...... (but not much is
)..... but I think that there is some good fun and enjoyment to be had.

Lately, I have been reading DC's Infinite Crisis from 2005. I have been picking up all the tie-ins on the cheap (from miniseries, to crossovers in the regular titles). When you put it all together it is a highly entertaining crossover. I don't necessarily agree with everything that has occured, but it has made for good reading. I plan on putting all of it together in a bound set.

Thats ganna be a 2 piece bindign project with all those tie ins
IC was a great step for dc
all 4 minis that led in to IC were great (come on they made catman cool
)
to the maxwell lord story ark (the best crossover in the whole thing)
to the SPOILER in white
superboy prime stuff that is spilling in to green lantern arks today. And the return of omac and batmans delusions almost distroying everything
it was just good stuff and a great change from the boy scout mentality that dc had used for years

This will be a big bound set. I plan on including some of the follow ups like Secret Six.

I am reading my Sojourn run right now. So far I have read up to #15.
I think it is amazing. Might be the most visually stunning book I have seen. I really like the writing, (but I like D&D style so...).
I also like how Arwyn is not all dressed in two band-aids and a cork. They also do not pose her all slutted out.
I am missing #27.... so I will have to find it quick. But I am super-loving it.
I really liked the Troll issue, very clever.

Greg Land draws stunningly beautiful women. This series was probably my second favorite CG title, after Negation. Scion was great too.Elveen wrote:I am reading my Sojourn run right now. So far I have read up to #15.

Brath looks good too.
I just got a Scion pocket TPB for $1.

I like good old Bloodshot.

I'm re-reading a bunch'a stuff: Bloodshot, PunX, N.I.O., VH-1 Ninjak.
All over the board, but that's what I (really) do.
