If we're talking the most expensive single book: I paid slightly over $100 for a CGC 9.8 graded Magnus 0 with card.
If we're talking which purchase cost me the most, it was a Harby #1 that I bought from sonicdan about 6 years ago that got me back into collecting Valiants. I stumbled across his site, saw that he had a Harby #1 for sale and bought it. Since then, I've bought [probably] one thousand Valiant books.

Well, maybe a couple thousand. There's only a few books that I hoard so I mostly only have one copy of each. I've probably got 5-10 of each Pre-Unity and 100-150 each of Unity 0 and Unity 1. Otherwise 1 each.Dr. Solar wrote:That's it??tssgery wrote:I've got two answers...

I paid cover for everything except one: I wanted a gold Archer and Armstrong 0 back in the day, and paid $70 for it. OUCH! Now that there's ebay, and comic book reader comics you can get on CD, I'd never pay over 20 bucks for a comic again, no matter how bad I wanted it. And for that matter, I'd hardly ever pay over cover price.

So now the guy says that he can't get ahold of the guy he sold the Archie to and thinks that he sent my Harbinger to.nutflush76 wrote:I just paid $45 for a pink Harbinger #0 the other day on eBay.
However when I got the package in the mail it was a Punisher Vs. Archie #1

Anyway the guy has really good feedback so I hope I don't have too much to worry about but you never know.
He offered to give me my money back. He told me I could wait or he will refund my money. I think I'm gonna get my money back. I can probably get another pink #0 for less than $45 anyway. I hope!
Man I didn't think this book was that hard to get.

I had won a Magneto #0 Gold CGC 9.8 last year.....got sent a Doctor Strange #1 CGC 9.4 instead. Now, Doctor Strange #1 9.4 was worth a little more than a Magneto #0 Gold CGC 9.8, but the Magneto is much, much rarer.nutflush76 wrote:So now the guy says that he can't get ahold of the guy he sold the Archie to and thinks that he sent my Harbinger to.nutflush76 wrote:I just paid $45 for a pink Harbinger #0 the other day on eBay.

I sent the Doc Strange to the correct recipient...the correct recipient never sent me the Magneto. I got a full refund, plus the cost of the shipping to Doc, but never got the Magneto.
