Concur. I also wonder if that recent negative feedback the seller has for a cracked CGC case hurt the sale. I know I would at least be very concerned about that before bidding myself on this auction.

I posted this on the other tread about this sale. But, I wonder if this auction had some shill bidding. I don't like that the second highest bidder bid 1998. If he really wanted to win, and he was willing to go 1998, then he should imagine that someone else might go 2000. So, he should have put in a bid of 2001, at least. What's another 3 dollars at that point?

Bidding only 1998 appears, to me, to be a shill bidder trying to max out the other guy in case the other guy went exactly 2000 (which he did). Right? Because up at that level, the bid incriment MUST be more than 2 dollars.

So... we have a guy that won for his EXACT high bid of 2000. And we have a guy we're supposed to believe wanted to win with a bid of 1998.

Fishy stuff IMO.

Watch for the CGC serial number to appear again on eBay.

If it does, we'll know this sale never happened. :hm:

That cracked (and broken) CGC case was mine. Seller, despite her lie to the contrary, offered me unsatisfactory resolutions.

I haven't decided how I'm gonna respond yet. :thumb:

I remember you posting you'd received some cracked CGC cases from eBay sellers. That sucks.

The bid history certainly look fishy towards the end.
