I think listing these as one big lot for one price is the only way you're going to get any interest in them at all.
They were given away free a little over a month ago.
Myron with the smackdown.
You don't usually see that!

Indeed they are.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:You have to admit, Jordan, your terms are quite extreme.
I dont want to give the guy too much crap, but the way he has this set up makes it sound like hes doing you a favour so be thankful.
My advice would be to slop them all in one lot and ask for $10 and be thankfull when it gets bid up to $20+.
They are given away for free and in the spirit of free comic book day and the board they would be better passed on to someone who can use them or for a really good price.
Just my 2c.

I totally read the auction. What do you guys think I'm trying to get him to do?
I said the only way he'd get any interest would be to list them all in ONE LOT for ONE PRICE.
Selling one by one is never going to work.
If people do show any interest (unlikely) what if they bid at the same time and want the same book?

Y'know....I know this is just me....but I have a real issue (ha! Imagine that! Me! With an issue!Draco wrote:Indeed they are.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:You have to admit, Jordan, your terms are quite extreme.

Just my 2c.

"Oh, well, everything else is that much, so who's gonna notice?"
I do.
Unless it's a book with an established market (Sleeping Beauty), then why is that necessary?
Stores putting the 25 cent Fables preview for $1 into a back issue bin, because they "added" a bag and a board.
I got suckered into paying $2 for the 25 cent Hellboy preview because I didn't see the 25 cent circle (the $2 price tag was OVER it!) and when I got home, I was *SQUEE*.
$2 for a 25 cent recent comic.
Please.
Anything we can do to make a buck.....

Do what you want, Jordan... but it just seems a bit .. odd. Selling something that was meant to be given a way free just a short while ago. Hey, you never know, maybe someone will buy them.
Remember, the books were given away free to encourage people to read comics, not meant to be used as a way to grab them and then sell then.
Can you imagine a comic book store selling these books ON FCBD? That wouldnt be nice. What about someone grabbing a handful of these and then selling them outside of the store? Thats just one degree of seperation. Although there is nothing illegal, thatI can think of, it doesnt seem ethical to me.
