I just got grades back for 4 books I sent in to CGC. Its actually the best return I have gotten to date,( two 9.8 and two 9.6). However, I sent in a EW Gold Embossed and I got a 9.8. This is the second 9.8 of this book I have gotten graded. I only want a 9.6!

What a horrible travesty! Something must be done! Rip it open and spit on it immediately!

Crack the slab, crease it a little, and re-submit.

Dude, seriously this is crazy i tell ya
You sell the 9.8's for good dollar, which is twice the price of a 9.6 and wait patiently for 9.6 to turn up.
Job done.

Meh. I know. Be patient. Maybe I'll just keep the 9.8 this time but then I'll have to upgrade my A&A 0 Gold to a 9.8 too.

I pretty much only collect 9.6's. I wouldn't mind upgrading to 9.8's on the golds but the A&A is killer. $500 or something like that.

Hey, I'm getting better at pre-screening.
One day I'll be as good as Ckb/Zwh.

I might consider that actually. You may have to throw in a few bones though.

This is a strange conversation. Maybe work out a deal with someone for two of the 9.6 books you need in exchange for the 9.8?

The problem is there has been
zero 9.6 's on the market the past year. Very few graded as well.
