Sadly, they probably belong in VH1.5
I was all happy letting them live in VH1 until this showed up:

VH2 Retailer Review inside an Iron Man / X-O cover.

Looks like an ad promotion. And advertising people have no regard for continuity. Believe me, I work with a bunch of 'em. They're great guys, but they approach their work like that drop of rain working down a windshield ... they will follow the path of least resistance so long as it gets them where they want.greg wrote:Sadly, they probably belong in VH1.5

Doesn't really matter a heck of a lot, but that's the way I store them.

Actually I don't beyond alphabatizing all the titles, and that's everything Valiant, DC, Marvel, Mirage, NEC, Dark Horse...DawgPhan wrote:You guys organize your collections?
Well I know that greg and zeph dont, but the rest of you do...hmm..
I was just throwing my 2 cents into the pole.

Alrighty... VH1 it is.
How does everyone feel about the creation of a "Multi-Publishers" category
on the inventory page for the Valiant comics?
We've got regular issues separated from premiums separated from reprints...
I think we should give multi-publisher books their own category...
Deathmate, Magnus&Nexus, Predator vs. Magnus, Iron Man/X-O, and X-O 1/2.
(including all the various variations of books from these titles...)
Sound cool?

That sounds good to me. In fact, that's the way I store all that stuff in my VH1 boxes ... Deathmates, Pred-Mags and stuff like that are after my X-O Manowars.greg wrote:Alrighty... VH1 it is.![]()

I think I'm on the verge of switching to short boxes, too. They're just easier to move and arrange.

None of the main characters were VH-1 or VH-2, actually. Solar's reality was one were the characters existed as they would have if Shooter had kept writing them (a reality that would've been destroyed with the rest of the multiverse at the end). Alexander Darque's world was the new Valiant Universe we would've ended up with at the end of the miniseries (the same one that Shadowman Vol 3 ad Amorines Vol 2 happened in) which I guess would make it Vh-3. I didn't realize the part about Alex's world being VH-3 myself until I read the unpublished U2000 plots on the archived Petrilak site.riftt wrote:i would put it in the post-vh2 era with shadowman vol. 3 and armorines vol. 2. It doesnt matter that aric is x-o, this is a comic conceived and born by post-valiant acclaim. We dont call unity 2000 vh1 even though it has vh1 characters in it, right?

I was leaning towards VH2 or 3 with this, but I can see the points for VH1 as well. So I'm cool with either way.greg wrote:Alrighty... VH1 it is.![]()

Iron Man / X-O books have returned to VH1 inventory in the collector tool.
I probably lost the correct Iron Man / X-O numbers for some (most? all?) of you...
so double-check the VH1 inventory and see if it's correct.
I'll try to create the "Multi-Publishers" category next update...
I also want to make some upgrades that will allow the big list
to be sorted.

The two normal I can see, but isn't the game version supposed to have only VH2 content?greg wrote:Iron Man / X-O books have returned to VH1 inventory in the collector tool.
Of course, since I don't have it, I might be biased...
That's the solution I'd vote for.I'll try to create the "Multi-Publishers" category next update...

Yep... but the cover is identical to Iron Man / X-O... so where they go... it follows.magnusr wrote:The two normal I can see, but isn't the game version supposed to have only VH2 content?greg wrote:Iron Man / X-O books have returned to VH1 inventory in the collector tool.
Since that X-O suit on the cover and the big V logo are clearly VH1...
what's inside is 'overruled' by the misdirection of the cover.
(Even if the inside actually IS the VH2 X-O retailer review.)
But after all... no one ever takes a book out of the bag and board do they?
