he did this about a month and a half ago, some people got some excellent deals on commons in CGC 9.8, but for the most part his auctions go for guide and then some.

yeah, for the most part. A couple may go higher, I think Rai 5 took off after the last auction, I think.

There's definitely deals out there...he isn't helping his case when he lists several 9.8s of the same book at once. I'm in the moving process so it's too much of a hassle for me to be buying anything...otherwise.

I agree, however he very well may be sitting on a stack of Magnus 5 in CGC 9.8, for example. It may then make sense to list more than one at a time, at least in his view. I'm sure he has revenue objectives to meet.
If I had a stack of Magnus 5 in 9.8 I'd certainly let them trickle out, but I don't have his overhead.

That's actually not a bad idea.

Then you can confirm if he blocks ALL of Canada, or just specific bidders who ask.

I couldn't bid and I emailed the seller and have yet to receive a response...not a big deal for me as I have a US go between and i'm not in buying mode right now unless it's something i really want like those damn maxx ashcans.

If anyones looking for cheap pre-unity 9.8's, his x4 X-O Manowar #2 should go for a song as there's so many finishing at once, same with Magnus #5, there's three of them.

Showcase got back to me, said too many problems with Canadians, they outnumber the rest of the world combined. What did you say to this guy?

I think the last thing I mentioned to him is that my feedback is solid and I'm looking to spend $100s if not $1000s on his auctions. Looks like he doesn't care.

You guys should just get someone who lives near the boarder (and near you) to be your proxies...there are a number of board members that live in the area (like Worldsbest in Seattle for Vancouver.)
