Hello fellow comic book readers,

just wanted to drop a note that I have arrived here. I'm a passionate comic book collector (Legion of Superheroes, Titans, other team books) from Germany - collecting since 1994, but I only stumbled over the Valiant universe this March when somebody sold his whole Valiant collection via German ebay.

Though I "only" managed to get the whole Harbinger series at the beginning for about 25 Euros (about 36 $ right now), I have become very interested in Valiant since then and read a whole lot of articles in the Internet about the Valiant years... fascinating!

I only read the first Harbinger storyline til now, but meanwhile bought large portions of the Unity, Deathmate and Chaos Effect crossovers and am looking forward to read all this stuff. Just waiting for the first Solar TPB to arrive next week - then my own personal "Valiant days" are about to begin...

Chemical King is, i have to confess, a seldomly used Legion of Super-Heroes character...

As for my comic books, most of my collection is in english, especially the Valiant part - cause those books were never translated into German.

All the 'pre-unity' books are widely accepted as the best of the valiant universe as far as story, art, talent.

By the way where is Bamberg?
