Auction Hall of Shame!

I dont pay too much attention to the upcoming movie scene. Are the Watchmen slated for a movie release soon? That might actually be pretty cool, but I would think it would be a case where the book was probably better than the movie, but one can hope thats not the case.ckb wrote:Movie hype. If you have these, sell them now and buy the trade.

You know, there was a kid at the show with his dad who was thumbing through my Valiant boxes. He happened across a Turok 3, and knew Turok from other media. I told him he could have it. His Dad them looked through my modern DCs and bought like $5 worth of those, so I pulled out a Turok 1 and 2 and gave those to them too.

"Fredkarger" is a psychology case-study all his own. Forget Valiant...SiBill wrote:Am I back in 1993? Starting price is 14 bucks? (Incl shipping):(

check any of his auctions and you'll see he's got his own personal reality.
I especially enjoy when he says "last copy" and has multiples available
at the same time... and continues to list them in the future, too.

Why leave a Neutral? Just leave a neg. Who cares...Leave the neg if you were unhappy at all...do everyone else a favor...MagnusRF wrote:To me, the neutral is enough. He DID offer a refund, even though it was a small amount. I would point out that he sold VG books as NM but offered a refund in the comments too.
Just my 2 cents!

Good point, Dawg, but I left the Neutral. He hasn't made a sale in a while, so the neutral sits right at top for all to see. PLus, I explicitly wrote about his lack of grading skills, so I hope it makes people think twice.
I am a very forgiving person about negging. ONe time, I bought a computer game and never heard from the guy for two months. I even tracked down the guy's phone number in Texas (I live in NY), called him, and he apologized with some lame excuse about a family member's sickness. I made him overnight the game to me and throw in another game he was selling that I wanted for half-off. I didn't neg him- but I should have done it!
