I remember this guy as he decided to sell off his complete collection on ebay including vcvss and vfvss's when I started on the this board. Looks like he never really sold off all of his valiant collection.

Not ringing a bell with me either. The blue "valiantcomics.com" on the certificate does seem familiar, though.

I did those in 2002, I believe...
Since I rarely sold any of my books, I decided that when I did sell a book,
I would note with a certificate that it came from the "ValiantComics.com" collection...
maybe a little provenance for 2052, but essentially worthless the day I created it.

This certifies that the accompanying comic was once held in the official collection of VALIANTCOMICS.COM

I don't remember what the disclaimer paragraph at the bottom says.
Probably something about ValiantComics.com being a reference site
and not officially endorsed by Valiant or Acclaim Entertainment.

Up to that point, I had been online with a Valiant website for five years,
but there was no "tangible evidence" that the site existed...
The fan projects hadn't been created yet, and I really just wanted to advertise the website...
it's basically a flyer accompanying an unsigned regular comic that I once owned.

So Greg, how does to have people bidding on something just because you owned it?

Well the current bid is $1.25 for a Solar #1, so I'd say it's an insult. :P

This reminds me. Are you planning on doing anything for a 10 yr book like the EW 5 at 5 years? That's still one of my favorite projects.

Time certainly seems to fly. #10 covers are freaking awesome (if you stick with that theme).

How about Harbinger #10, first appearance of HARD Corps?

Although Shadowman #10 is probably the best looking cover.

You like Shadowman #10 as the best 10 cover? I think X-O 10 is wicked awesome. Bloodshot 10 would be perfect for signing, but SLODM #10 is a nice cover as well and it would be cool to have a SLODM project. whatever he picks, even if it's not a 10 cover, I'm sure it will be supa sweet.
