Promethea
Elveen, wants to know about Promethea.
I know for me its the most amazing 32 issue storyline I've ever read.
It's Alan Moore at probably his best since Watchmen/Miracleman in the mid 80's.
Its basically the idea that there is power in fiction. Promethea being a character who has been reborn throughout history due to someone making herself a fictional character.
the first 12 issues are some of my favorites.
The second arc 13-23 is a long trip through the different layers in magic.
24-32 is the closing story Alan Moore wrote for the ABC line, its basically the end of everything but much happier then you would guess.
The JH Williams 3 art is better then anything I have ever seen.
I would completly recommend getting this either collected in trade or getting the issues. In fact issue 32 if you take it apart and put the pages in order it forms 2 gigantic images of promethea(one on each side) the great part is it still works as a story as originally published.

It's just the opposite for me. I didn't care for it at all. But everyone has different tastes.ncameron wrote:Elveen, wants to know about Promethea.

I read GL Rebirth. I liked it. I was not familiar with any of the characters, but I was still able to enjoy it.
I read the Legion TPB...... it was just ok. To many -lads, -boy, -girl to keep track of.
I have not read the other GL books yet..... but they are still out.
