Hmmmm. Ok i guess it might not have been, as it did have some rather strange red liquids oozing out from it and the smell was pretty awful. So it was either and old pizza or the GF used the wrong bin.

reading comic BOOKS right now, as opposed to comic books. I just finished reading the recently released "Where Demented Wented", a book about underground comix artist Rory Hayes, which is mainly a collection of his works, but also contains quite a bit of biographical info. Now I have to finish "The Complete Fritz the Cat" by R. Crumb. After I finish that, then I will finish reading the Valiant fanfic book by Joe P. All genuine "books", not "pamphlets".

Is it really that bad? That's one of those things I have in my collection, but haven't gotten around to reading yet. I love The Prisoner, but if it's that bad, maybe I'll move it further down my "to read" list...

i think it just feels dated, but the series was utter madeness so i shouldnt have been surprised really.

The story left me feeling like i didnt give a crap about the characters one bit and so lost interest.

I recently won an e-bay auction for some Mystique solo issues and thought it was pretty good, certainly worth the time to read. Also included was "Ultimate Power" --- lame writing! I have been out of comics for a good while and have been buying full runs on e-bay looking to recapture some of the comic joy.

I sure hope I don't get a full run of crappy writing --- all hail the good times of early Valiant writing. Missing those days.

But Ennis writing on the Punisher MAX series got me good. Those issues really helped light the getting back into comics fire.

I heard that... I picked up quite a few issues really cheap 1-30 or something like that, and I coudnt put them down. I hope that the new writer does a good job. I am behind on reading but the first issue by the new writer didnt seem all that bad... I mean it was the same old cliche'd 'Punisher writing' but I sense the begining of a twisted tale.

I am reading Elric: the making of a sorcerer TPB. (thanks Lighting) It is a DC release. Moorcock is the author and Simonson is the artist.

I like it so far. I like the sword and sorcery genre, so me likely.

All-star Superman TPB is up next. I am very excited for it, and I have very high hopes. :hope:

I snatch up any and all books by Simonson. He's one of my favorite artists and writers. If you ever get a chance, pick up his Orion series. It's superb

All Star Superman is one of the best Superman stories I've ever read. Morrison and Quitely are amazing on that book.

Action has been awesome since Johns and Frank have took over as creators. The Legion and Braniac arcs were just fantastic!

Just finished reading Shadow of the Batman #1-5, baxter reprints of the Englehart/Marshall Rogers Detective Comics run. Excellent stuff, I need to pick up some of the original issues.

I bought the TPB of that run about a year ago and STILL haven't read it. I really need to get going on my back issue reading.

I found and am reading The Atlantis Chronicles thanks to you and am enjoying them more the deeper I get into them. Good story and direction so far and doing a good job of explaining some things.
