Bob Hall's run on Shadowman was nothing short of a miracle. I consider it one of the least known ALL TIME GREAT runs in comic book history.JustCallMeAric wrote:Yeah the whole Shadowman run rockeddave wrote:while i was collecting my favorites were

Wow, when I first began reading this thread I saw no love for Shadowman, which kind of surprised me. I agree, it was the most consistent from beginning to end. Glad to see some love for the guy.
1. Shadowman
2. X-O
3. Eternal Warrior
I love the way A&A started out, classic stuff, but it went to hell when Barry left.

I got into Valiant quite a bit after Unity. I still have never read all of Unity and only sparse bits of Pre-Unity stuff.
That being said, when I read Valiant the first time around my top 3 were:
A&A (0-15 ish)
H.A.R.D Corps (1-13 ish)
Solar (16-29)
so none of that really compares to some of the great runs or most talked about stories from Valiant, but those were the ones I enjoyed at the time.
now I would have to say:
A&A (0-12)
Rai (9-23)
Magnus (21-37)
I still have alot of books until I have a completion so there are alot of the earlier stories that are still lost on me.

I'd love to. I have A&O and it is a really great read and the first 10 seem like they would be really cool.JustCallMeAric wrote:You have got to read Solar 1-10Zaphod wrote:I got into Valiant quite a bit after Unity. I still have never read all of Unity and only sparse bits of Pre-Unity stuff.

In fact all of the early Valiant seem like they would be really cool, I just don't have the money to pick them up. I hadn't read the early XO stuff until the HC that came out recently, or Harbinger #6 (I had the older Harbinger TPB, but it didn't go as far as the HC did) and it was really good stuff.
I also keep a look out for Steel Nation, from all I have read here about it through you guys.
