The 25 cent bin pick up of the day.

My local comic shop has a deal for their monthly subscription base that any book in the back issue bin is only a quarter. Now most of these books are not even worth that 25 cents but every once in a while i pull a gem or 3 out.

Today i had some pretty good luck. I managed to pull out an XO Trade Paperback Variant and a Harbinger TPB Blue Logo! The harbinger still had the harbinger 0 reprint with it in the package even though the plastic had seen better days both books look in great condition!

Not bad for 50 cents.

I could actually have a pretty good list of good pulls out of these bins over last year

What we need is innovation and even revolution—but not so much in the form of marketing ploys and doohickeys. What is needed is bold creative vision, excellent stories, and brilliant storytelling, in a word, entertainment. -- Jim Shooter

Can't beat 50 cents for Blue bird, nice going.

Here's a thread where we brag about some our great deals.

Oh there are some great war stories in there!
Would it be an issue if i kept this thread here just for the 25 cent bin finds? it would be interesting to look back on it a year or so.

Not every deal is worth of bragging compared to the big ticket books but hard to find/weird books out of this bin are a joy of mine to talk about.

The best part about the bin is i am able to put the books aside as i find them as i have my very own long box.

As long as it's moved to the appropriate section, I wouldn't have a problem.

Well if the powers that be wish to move this to a different section i will update it each time i venture to the quarter bin and enthrall you all with tales of loss and triumph as i dig solid gold out of the piles of mediocrity.

Now that i have dug out my long box of recent unsorted purchases this past week or two i have actually had a very strong run in finding valiant filler issues from my past. Unfortunately none of these are in any sort of great shape but they are good as filler or possibly as a book binding project.

Rai 7 and 2 copies of 32
Bloodshot 26
Punx 3
XO 66 ... Sick cover by the way if anyone knows where to get the original art to that i may look in to that.
Shadowman 39 and 43
I have several copies latter run shadowman V1 on hold now when i found a small stack i am hoping that a few are in better condition than the one i currently have.
Dr. Mirage 1 and 16
Eternal Warrior 34
Magnus 6 7 both w/ coupons! 11 16
Unity The Lost Chapter 1
Solar 39
Harbinger 3 w/ coupon 25 38

That is 20 great comics for 5 bucks you cant go wrong.

That is the haul over the last week or so. I will give you an update next time i go fishing :thumb:
