So while I was at WWLA I submitted this:

and got this:

(FYI, that streak at the top of the book is from the scan. Don't know why it showed up)

Yeah, I know, it's not Valiant, but still...

Like I said in the WWLA thread, I don't know for sure yet. Might sell, but don't know when.

I wonder if anyone else found any other unsigned copies of this? I noticed that 2 that got graded were in the Qualified section, so those are obviously signed and numbered.

My copy is signed. I think the unsigned ones are very very rare

I didn't even know there was an unsigned version. Would they have been from the over print % that was done in order to make sure they had enough good copies to get signed? If so there could only be maybe 20 to 50 tops.

It COULD be a from an overprint. I remember going over to Defiant1's board and finding this thread: http://defiant1.proboards27.com/index.c ... 1101393055

where he says the the overprint would probably not be more than 10%, which would mean the highest estimated overprint number would be 100.

But I dunno. I remember finding this from a 25 cent or 5-for-a-dollar bin. I don't think the store owner knew anything about it (probably inherited the stock from a previous owner).

I'd have to say that this was pretty well preserved for something that ended up in a bargain bin. Course it was bagged and boarded...

Based on the cost to make this book I would bet the overprint was a much lower %. It was something like $20 per to get made.
