Anyone else notice how Much Artie Lange is Like Armstrong?

Too Fat to Fish is a collection of outrageous, raw, and painfully funny true stories straight from the life of the actor, comedian, and much-loved cast member of The Howard Stern Show, Artie Lange.
A product of a close-knit, working-class family in Union, New Jersey, Artie Lange is a stand-up comic and actor whose resume includes the movies Dirty Work, Elf, Beer Leauge, and the cult television show Mad TV. When the good-for-little Lange joined the The Howard Stern Show cast in 2001, it was nothing short of a renaissance in the Stern universe. A natural-born storyteller with a bottomless pit of material, he has become a fan favorite and developed a maniacally devoted following. With every trial in his life—from his drug addiction to his obesity, from the tragic loss of his father to his fights with his family, friends, and co-workers—Artie mines the humor, pathos, and humanity in these events and turns them into comedy classics. Shockingly wild, brutally honest, and drop-dead hilarious, Too Fat to Fish is Artie Lange giving everything he's got to give. And like a true pro, the man never disappoints.
Dude, he would be perfect for armstrong, a drunken emortal. Can you imagine?!
Intelligent, Comedic and totally wasted! Nuff Said.

Why he's so much like armstrong is his size but also that he's always intoxicated and telling stories. It's quite uncanny, we should try and get him a A&A hardcover or something.Daniel Jackson wrote:I saw him on Letterman awhile back promoting the book. He alright, but I don't find him all that funny.

well yea, you'd have to explain how alike they are for him to take any interest but once that's done I'm sure he'd take interest. I'd be like Artie, we found the perfect super hero character for you to play! lol.Daniel Jackson wrote:He would probably just look at it and say....huh?MoonChild wrote:Why he's so much like armstrong is his size but also that he's always intoxicated and telling stories. Im in the West Coast so I'd have to call and send it in. I'd have to write a letter or e-mail just so someone actually checks it out, I remember hearing they throw all kinds of fan crap out! I really think I should tho, it'd be worth just hearing his response to it.Brian Thomer wrote:You could send it to the Stern Show or hand it to him at a book signing or stand up gig.MoonChild wrote:It's quite uncanny, we should try and get him a A&A hardcover or something.

More than likely, you'd just hear Ralph's response to it.MoonChild wrote:Im in the West Coast so I'd have to call and send it in.
