Dead Universe - Variant Covers - with Photos
Post your variant covers here: You send me your link to a pick and I will try to manage each companys variant within this thread. If I do it any other way, we will have stickies all the way back a page or two and not be able to see the new posts
ULTRAVERSE:
Elven #1 variant (reads limited foil edition but does not have any foill on the cover)

Mantra #5 cartoon cover variant

Also note (my one of very few contributions here and one that Big Tel acknowledged) the variants for Mantra #13

Regular and variant respectively.

Knightt, this stuff on the forums is cool, but rather than commandeering the Valiant fans forum for this stuff, there should be a real, dedicated website.
I know you are passionate about the D.U. material. Why don't you start a Dead Universe website? Or at least an Ultraverse website? The internet is sorely lacking an encompassing one.....

I have thought about this quite a bit but at this point I am not willing to disassociate myself with ValiantFans.com. Greg is kind enough to let me stay in one of the rooms on this board. If I did, it would encompass Dead Universes, not just one.IMJ wrote:Knightt, this stuff on the forums is cool, but rather than commandeering the Valiant fans forum for this stuff, there should be a real, dedicated website.

Maybe someday... I would need to do a bit of research on websites and hosting and such.
Believe me, I would LOVE to have a 'section' just like 'VALIANT Comics', 'Comic Books (General Discussion), and Anything and Everything but this IS a Valiant website. Although given a seperate section, it would give for a very nice chance to grow within the site without clogging up the already full Announcemenets, stickies and such between the two Dead Universes and Dead Universes - Issue Checkists.

I don't think you'd have to "disassociate with Valiant Fans" just by creating a D.U. or Ultraverse website. That's a bit awkward that you'd feel that way, man.
Greg is the man, but it just seems cheezy to have all of this stuff on someone else's forum rather than a proper website.
In any event, it was only a thought. Back to the cover postings! Also remember that Comic Book Price Guide online makes for a great cover gallery source if you want to search for Ultraverse variants there and then post them!
