New Market Place For Original Comic Artwork Opening Nov 26
Hi Fans,
We are launching Sketch Maven, a new marketplace for original comic artwork this Thanksgiving Day. We built this from the ground up and are trying to make this the easiest place to buy and sell artwork. We have placeholders in our database for all the Valiant/Acclaim pages created and we'd love to have the presence of the Valiant Fans community on our site. (You can see what an item page looks like by checking out a short clip of a page from X-O Manowar #39- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3p91y80zfDY )
Please check us out. Happy Holidays!

not a bad user interface, but when I "browse artists", there is no rhyme or reason to the listing, so have no idea which page i want to go to, nor, when i check out an artist, is the list the same when i go back, so i have no idea of whether or not i'm missing an artist since the names aren't in order. poor design there. Either that or bad database programming.

How true!
First, thanks for the feedback Charles. I think the current answer is that it is bad design AND bad programming.
The Browse features are still being developed and should be completed within a week. What you will see is a toggle to switch between Alpha/Number of Pages on the Site and a slightly cleaner format.
The Smart Search http://sketchmaven.com/smart_search.php is probably a much better user experience right now (although it still has a couple bugs we're working through). So, for example, you can search on Publisher = "Acclaim", hit search and start filtering and browsing from there.
Again, thanks for the feedback and for checking out the site.
