Awesome! I figured something like this was in the works. Great likeness of Billy Campbell too :thumb:

I'm definitely getting one

$330 is kind of steep compared to some of the other statues they sell. I'm curious though, I just looked on their site and noticed a "cliff secord" version that is already sold out, which didn't have the helmet. Do they normally list all their versions at once or do they space them out forcing people to buy multiples and ticking people off? It seems to me they might of put the cliff secord version out first and it sold out and then "but wait, we have an exclusive version" where it includes a Rocketeer head and a Cliff Secord head that swaps out. I think I see at least 3 versions of this one, maybe 4?

I love Sideshows stuff but haven't bought anything yet.

With most of their statues Sideshow releases a Regular and an Exclusive version at the same time. The exclusive version of this statue comes with 2 heads that can be swapped out to have the helmeted version or the actor's head version. So there is no reason to buy 2 statues.

The regular version's head will not be removable. Most of the time the exclusive version is more limited than the regular release and can only be purchased when released through sideshow's website. Dealer's do not get a wholesale price on exclusive versions and must order them just like everyone else. The regular versions of most of the statues can be purchased for below retail on ebay or at an LCS. There are exceptions though . . :)

Also the Premium Format line is a mixed media statue with some fabric clothing instead of being all sculpted.

If you are really interested, they just went up for sale Thursday night and if you get on the waitlist now you have an excellent chance of getting one.

I actually think they hold a few back just in case of anything because there are always waitlist conversions . . .

:thumb: Thanks, I just got on the wait list.

Though I didn't like the "real jacket" on their last figure. I hope this one turns out better. It looks better in the photos. The last one looked like it was too big for him and the color was off!

The Rocketeer has arrived! I went for the premium version that included the Cliff Secord (modeled after Billy Campbell) head ...

Man, I have never held one of these Sideshow toys before. I am VERY impressed with the quality. This is not some cheap toy. The price is well worth it. High quality. This sucker is heavy. Everything looks perfect, down to the last detail of the gum on the jet pack. I won't hesitate to buy from Sideshow again and I might have to go back and buy a few that I was on the fence about, like the Indiana Jones statues.

Thanks to Siren for giving me the heads up!

I was gonna make a wisecrack like "Where's the gum on his rocket pack?" Then I saw it! :o This is a thing of beauty.
