Rai #5 CGC 9.8, just picked this up

I have been looking for a copy for a while and haven't seen it at this level before. SNE has one currently up for $375 BIN and others I've seen ended at around $250 (or more).

So yeah, I am happy with this since it's a tough copy (only 21 in the pop).

Wow didn't realize they were that low on the census. I've submitted a batch of 50 books for pre-screening. If I remembered right, a Rai #5 was in the pile. Let's hope I hear the good word from CGC....

I spotted that earlier and wondered who would hit it, as i had seen one for $550 i think.

I'm stunned this did not show up in the search results I get by email. I would have made you pay more. I got an offer I couldn't refuse for the one that was in in my registry set and I've been thinking now is the time to get a replacement.

Oh, it was a BIN! I thought an auction went for a week and ended at that price. Now it all makes sense. Don't mind me - a bit slow today.

It had a starting price of $99.99 w/ a $160 BIN.

I saw it ten mins after it was up and expected it to be gone when i checked again, then i logged on here and saw this thread.

Some things dont need putting here as i know many of us watch the bay all day.

Thats a good price, if the guy had more I think he could get that price all day long. Quite a few people still need this one.

IMO that's a tough get...that black cover is really difficult to find that pristine...the issue itself is relatively easy to find, but not in grade
