Technically, this topic is in the wrong category... (sorry JCV!)
However, I suspect that Jim Shooter will be signing Valiant comics at the event,
so even though he's not producing Valiant comics, it is a sort of "general Valiant" topic.

This just shows the power of putting a thread in this catagory.

Had the pleasure of seeing Jim Shooter today at Atlas Comics. I had the displeasure of not having any of my comics I wanted autographed with me because I got trapped in the snow when I went home to NC the previous weekend.

Did you get to chat?
Actually, He (Jim Shooter) came to chat with the local school kids. He was in the area by invitation from a friend of his who is a teacher. He pretty much just fielded random questions from the twenty or so folks in the store. Atlas is kind of a small store. The owner has the store stocked from one end to the other with inventory. Jim Shooter sat at the very front of the store in a corner behind a table. He got up at times when he really got into the anecdotes he was telling to those gathered. There were alot of elementary school kids running around while the adults were listening to Shooter. Kind of distracting. Gotta love the kids though.
Here is a pic of Jim Shooter with the store owner standing up beside him.
