There is a VERY nice write up from Ms. Wohl on the back cover as well as another by Jim Shooter.

If I can work it without damaging my new Grail item, I will try and scan it. If not, I can type them both in their entirety.

Anyone interested in that ?

Do the binders come the back art ?
I don't know if there's any art on the back of the DD binder. I would think there is.
There is back art for the Dark Dominion binder (I have it), I think you had to send away for it the same as the Plasm binder.
Yes, we know that there is back art for Dark Dominion and Plasm (third edition binder having different back art)... the question is whether the binders have it with them in the auction, bud. :thumb:
Update: Neither binder has back art but the DD binder does have the coupon to send in for the back art.

Still a good haul... I keep a filled binder with no back art for each book as well (well not the DD as none of mine are filled yet)

It's a bummer that the 8 page "Chasm" comic offer from the Dark Dominion binder never made it out. I think I sent away for it back in the day and my letter was returned back to me unopened.

Meh... the damn card company screwed the pooch on those deals. I remember reading an article that Jim Shooter was signing so many cards that he didn't exactly know WHAT he was signing... and the Chasm storyline and booty items (i.e. Pirate Booty reference) just fell by the wayside. I believe that a couple artists may still have the original art to some of it and I know I have read a script somewhere. Does anybody have additional 'art/written stuff' from Chasm ? I have a 'puzzle piece' post card and that is about it... I'll need to call corvettejim.

Ain't that issue cool? :D It reads like the beginning of an original Shooter universe. :thumb:

There's also the double-sized issue 2 but not sure if it got fully released/printed but a Purple Preview issue does appear in some party pics of the first comic's launch.

Gene Gonzales (penciler/inker of Seven issue #2) has a cover process breakdown on an old blog entry from his site where he talks about working from a Shooter drawn layout cover to "Seven" issue #2:

I'm kinda hoping the VCS "Seven" project includes the preview issue #2 as a bonus to the project package since that's just as rare.... :hope:

Yes, I really, REALLY enjoyed reading this issue... the beginning of a Shooter-verse is a GREAT read on many levels. I enjoy Shooter's work VERY much, I think more so when it is his own creation. I cannot recall any Marvel or DC stuff written by him that I have read. But Seven is an outstanding issue, a LONG issue as well. GREAT stuff.

Just finished reading this book, now looking to pass it on if anyone's interested. Check the B/S/T Non-Valiant forum, I'm selling it for the $3 I paid for it plus shipping of your choice.

I got an electric guitar for £15.

Not just any guitar ~ I replica of AC/DC Angus young SG series.

Ok yes its a copy, but my friends in an instrument maker, and got it from his friends father. Who brought it in the late 70/ early 80's to have a guitar like angus.

My friend and I were going to make an sg copy, but then he pulled this out and said I could have it for 15.

Oh, and it rocks. I have been playing thunderstruck most of yesterday. :thumb:

Family went out on a weeklong trip today so I WENT OUT LCS CRUISING... brought home the following for $.25 cents a piece:

Solar #10 (1st print) x2 (GREAT condition, will surely replace my not so great one in my Valiant collection)
The X-Files 1, 5-18, Special Edition #2
Masters of the Universe #1 (gold cover - Premium cover C) (Image)
Masters of the Universe #4 (gold cover - Cover B) (Image)
Avengers Finale (Neal Adams cover)
Vampirella Blood Lust #1 - Deluxe Showcase Edition

And assorted other comics like a few 'Clive Barker books' (Saint Sinner, Hokum & Hex, EctoKid), I am trying to put a Clive Barker collection together (anybody have any of these?)

oh oh oh and a copy of Super Soldiers #1 from Marvel, been looking for these for YEARS. I don't know how far out they go but if anybody has them, I would buy them off ya (ANY of the books mentioned, I am always willing to buy first and trade as well).

Also picked up Donna Matrix #1, a few Shadowhawk issues I was needing, something REALLY cool looking called 'Shadow Reavers' from Black Bull comics (I am going to collect Black Bull now for sure).

Amerikan Flagg #1 and Scorpion Corps from Dagger comics (I am getting STUPID on Dagger comics lately... ah well, it never ends eh ?)

Not a bad haul for 25 minutes of work... oh and I got the upper set of Wizard encased/numbered gold cards to add to my previous collection (in the below portion of the photo).

Sweet haul, man.

Those Masters of the Universe books from Image are so great-looking. Real high-quality art and production on them.

Those EctoKid books from the Barkerverse are written by one of the Wachowski brothers before they put out the Matrix films.

Some more info on those MotU books by Image:

The first series lasted four issues.

The second series lasted six issues.

And, the third series was eight issues long and was published initially by MVCreations and then went back to Image.

Also, there are a number of one-shots and preview books. And, naturally ... plenty of variant covers.

Just some cool books to share, many I have never seen before, especially that Brute Babe Monument. The pages are large cards (tablets) that tell a story on the front and have character drawings on the back. This is a quality product here. I gotta get more of these to finish the story.
