G1 Transformers - A crazy Christmas wish!

Post by JonesyAZ »

Howdy all,

I used to have quite the vast Transformers collection, but over a year ago, I had to sell my collection to save up to pay for school costs. While I have used some of my money over time to collect Valiant Comics (which has been a blessing!), I have been thinking about collecting a few G1 Transformers (original or reissues) again.

If anyone has any of the figures listed below, in reissue form or original, send me a PM if you are willing to sell them for a cheap price :)

Rest assured that I would love to have some of these guys to make a childhood dream come true :)

I'm specifically looking for characters that populated the original TV show, as follows:

Optimus Prime
Megatron
Soundwave
Starscream
Thundercracker
Skywarp
Ironhide
Ratchet
Bumblebee
Hound
Prowl
Sideswipe

Thank you for letting this crazy dork share his thoughts and wishes for this Christmas :)

God bless!

You may like the masterpiece versions of G1. I have masterpiece Optimus Prime, Starscream (US version) and Skywarp (US version) along with Grimlock. You should be able to find them reasonable on ebay. FYI on the masterpiece, the Japanese versions tend to be a different color scheme than the US versions on teh Starscream and Skywarp. The Walmart editions were the correct G1 US color schemes. They will be releasing a US version of Thundercracker sometime in the near future. They truly do transform like they did on the cartoon. Very impressive figures. You may want to check them out.

Check out Hobby LInk Japan. Looks like another reissue of Predacons.

I had all of these at one point they are very nice, but other than the Prime, are very cheaply made. The Megatron had only one piece of die cast metal, the rest was cheap plastic. I could be certain if you transform most of them a few times, part would just break due to the fact.
