Around here, Chew #1-3 are impossible. You can NOT find ANY of the Transformers books from 09, period. I know, because a friend collects them and has had to order them from online.

Is is just lower print runs or are books being snatched up quicker OR is a combination?
Interesting. One thing I know, I don't know why some of these books do well. :|

Hard to believe supply and demand have absolutely nothing to do with it.

If anyone has issues of Cowboy Ninja Viking #1 that they want to move, now may be the time. There must be some buzz since Disney bough the rights.

It's not selling for alot, but you should be able to move them for cover. A few have sold for about $10 and an international seller's copy sold for $25 :?

Well, I don't like Wizard enough these days to actually pick one up and look at it... other than that, I do have some fond memories of Wizard from 20 years ago.

When I went hunting for them at a show back in October, there was buzz and there were quite a few available, from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th volumes. Prices were decent and interest was gaining.

The movie books are a hit-and-a-miss with Transfans.

There was a tremendous and I mean TREMENDOUS negative backlash by fans against Transformers: All Hail Megatron also due to the book's lateness, so it doesn't surprise me that it has low sales in the later issues. In fact it seems like that I'm one of the few fans that actually loves it, and believe me I've been flamed by many fans on several sites for my defense of it.

I'm not a huge trans fan but I thought the couple of issues I read were ace. Going to get the whole thing at some point.

27 #1 (Image Comics) comes out today. It's been sold out at the distributor level and it is going for $25 on eBay. Seems interesting but not sure about the long-term demand.

I could have purchased 5 of these at the store today, if I had the money and the desire.
