Silver XO ring

I can make this ring and can get it casted in silver I have experience in ring making. does anyone have one that I can get some pictures of and I need someone to weigh it for me in Grams. Thanks alot

The Jeweler would not use anything else but jewlery silver coins dont have enough silver content and some are just plated not even worth the time. but thank you for your wonderful post.

I've got an X-O Ring! Mine's bronze.

Except it's in a little bug box and sitting on a shelf somewhere at my parents house.

Because I never took it with me. So I left it there.

Because I never took it.

But yeah, cast that bad boy in silver!

Why wouldn't you just pick up a bronze ring for like 20 or so and give it to the jeweler and tell him you want the same thing in silver and have him give you a price.

Btw, I'll buy one when they are available.

if I got him to make it from scratch it would cost like 400-600 for the first one and regular price for the rest. I have alot of experence in ring making and can make it my self. all he the jewler has to do is cast it and I pay for the silver and his time to clean it up and make it nice. I will ask any one interseted in buying one in silver. to please send me a message and I will keep your information and when I get it done or have an idea of price or anything I find out I can email you when I know. I love XO comic and always wanted a ring but they are way too pricy. I may even be able to get it sized to your finger. I would want them to be used and not just stored in a box. lame. I will most likly need to do a sertin number to make it worth wile I'm thinking of 5-10 only I have to make it first and then get the jewlet to make a mold and thats pricy then I can make as meny as people want to buy. but this will be limited I dont want to flood the market and have them sold at any store all the time. then after Im done I will smash the mold so no more can be made. end of story Im thinking the price willbe around 100-150 it is a big ring and just the silver alone will cost. Im just guessing but I do need the weight to match it.
if I had a bronze one yes it would be easyer to copy but the weight would be off. and I would have to charge more to cover the cost of a ring I dont want. now if I could borrow one thats a great idea but I dont know any one who would lend it out. + what if I find out it costs like 200 I think thats way to much how could I sell them I would have to abandon the idea and what do I do with the ring I dont want becasue I dont want a crappy bronz ring thats lame yikes what a post sorry

I guess it's more complicated than I thought, hope you can work it out, I have a Ninjak silver that's supposed to be rarer, do you think they might be the same weight?

well theyr is 5 spots still left for the minumum and I have found someone to lend me the bronze ring.

well it looks like its geting along quite well. does any one have a XO ring for sale Bronze would be nice or I could borrow it. If any one is interested in a silver XO ring I will have no problems now and I have found out a bit more information the max cost for the ring will not exceed 150.00 most likly less. I will need a minumum of 6 people and a maximum of 10 to make it affordable if your interested please email me. the more people the cheeper the rings gets if I make like 10 I think they could go down to 100.00 each this XO ring will be 100% like the original. I did not ask but the ring can be resized to what ever you want but I dont know yet about price or if it can be included in the cost. Ill keep you posted about that.

The bronze ring weighs approximately 10.6 pennyweight. The size is slightly less than a size 11.

that's roughly 16.48 grams, or .58 ounces. silver closed at $30.80 today, so your looking at $17.91 worth of silver per ring. DON'T GET RIPPED OFF, the majority of the cost should be labor. ask him to break down the cost if necessary.

I sliced my finger open yesterday so this email will be worse than usual. sorry
I just finished a ring for my girlfriend for Valantines day I carved it out of the wax for ring making. to cast the ring and finish it off because its not finished when it comes out it needs to have the excess silver filed off then buffed and finished. her ring was a size 5.5 total cost with taxes was 67.20 I even supplyed my own silver to save 10.00 dollars the xo ring is size 10.5 and is huge the jewler can not give me an exact price for the rings till a mold is made out of the bronze one. there for ya your pricing may be right but if you know anything about how buisness works whole sale price you find on a private seller or even sock market prices is not what you buy it for if I buy sonthing for 1.00 I sell it if Im nice for 1.50 -2.00 thats how stores work they need to pay the over head. coustom rings just dont fall from trees. bronze is not even the same waight as silver so its not quite comparable
if and when the 6 people want a ring made then i will take a deposit to pay the jewler to make a mold and I will pay the guy to send the bonze ring to me. then the jewler can find out a real price and if I can sell more than 6 then we get a quontity price cut. but I refeuse to do all the work and pay for the mold to be made just to find out the price. so far this project is nul and void no interest means no rings for anyone to bad but what can I do. I dont rip people off and I do hope your talking about the jewler because I want to be fair and am an honist person even tho I cant spell or type gramatic sentences flork my finger hurts!!

yes, i was talking about the jeweler. u can buy your own silver for spot price at any coin store, u would be a fool to buy it from a jeweler.

so if some one comes up witha an Idea and puts it in to motion someone else can come by and take that idea and because they have more acsess or money ie having an XO ring that person can take that idea and crap on the other guy and this is alloud by this site and site oranizers ? just a question. becasue the world works like this. selfish people screwing fellow man I thought we would be better than that here on this site. well maybe I got it wrong maybe the Dark key fan site is not like that I would never expected this here. I do know alot of you joind Dark key fan site and I never would have had this kind of Bull flork happen over there

I dont have anything to post about. all the stuff I have. has been said how much more can i say about Valiant solar XO and turok I Have all the Valint books I want all of turok/ acclame turok and XO the one thing I do want is a crapy. cover on. Turok son of stone #1 1954 other than that I love to read what rare items people have to sell and I like reading about what others have to say. I dont feel like I need to poke my head in and post aboutnothing. does this make me have friend or not does it matter.
