Price on a full run of Invincible.... Ideas

Post by maraxusofkeld »

Hey guys, I was thinking of purging my Invincible run, wanting to buy some BA Marvel keys, and I was thinking of what would a reason amount to expect. The #1 is cgc 9.4. I have three copies of his 1st appearance, both covers, and all the related mini's. Is $500 free shipping too much to expect?

I'll see if I can do a bit of research later, but I'd think you could get $500. I recall them going for $350 or so a while back, but that was some time ago.

There hasnt been any full runs really on in quite sometime. That and I usually do full scans of the front and back of each all the keys which seems to help a lot. I am kind of on the fense as I do really enjoy the title, just not sure if I want/should sell.

$500 with free shipping is a great deal. Go with it. :thumb:

Hmmm..... seems no big chunks of the series has sold lately. #1 issues look to be down a bit right now so it may not be the best time. The slight lull is probably related to the rather crappy shipping schedule of late.

The newest HC comes out tomorrow so some interest may be stirred up over the next few months.

I still believe this series is the modern ASM and will be a run to have in even the distant future.

For 50¢ to list it, it's worth a shot at $500. I wouldn't sell either of my complete Invincible sets for less than $450-500 and I probably wouldn't sell them for that either (but I'm biased because it's my favorite book), but I'm pretty sure you could move them pretty quickly if they were priced at $4.50-5 per book.

If you need the cash, do it. If not, hang on to it and see if you can sell something else.

Invincible is one run that I will be proud to pass on to my son in the future and won't feel like I'm burdening him with a bunch of crap that his old dad liked. Right now, the only books I can honestly say that about is Invincible and maybe 1-137 or so of ASM.

I agree with 400, unless i needed to sell i wouldnt, this series is not easy to put together and will IMO be as important as WD in years to come.
Very much the Amazing Spider-man of the future.

Well, this went for much more than I thought it would. This was the first big chunk I've noticed in a while.

Did you ever sell this? Curious as to how much you made.

NO I never posted as I do really enjoy the title, but was thinking of selling to put the money towards a All Star Western #10 CGC 9.4, House of Secrets #92 CGC 9.4 or a Marvel Spotlight #5 CGC 9.4. Still in decision.

What are those? Jonah Hex, Swamp Thing and Ghost Rider?

Pfffft. Invincible stomps those B to D list characters.
