I have been reading this thread, all makes sence (well options are coheriant ~ unlike my spelling)

People talking about Walking dead and TMNT was interesting ~ but how much does a VF/NM version of walking dead go for?

Between $250-325. This is a book where a VF/NM can often sell just as high or higher than a NM because people want a copy. It just depends on who wants a copy at a particular time.

Not breaking news, but Spawn 150 is an interesting book. It's the first Man Of Miracles.

Yea, issue #150 had 5 regular variant covers I mean. 8-) It seems like alot of Spawn issues after #92 are getting more valuable and harder to find.

It's surprising how much some of those Spawn issues go for. :thumb:

Yeah, I just checked ebay, they go pretty cheap. That comic rarely enters my consciousness anymore.

Me too, there was a time I would just buy the crap out of them in the cheap bins for 50 to $1.00 apiece.

Most of the issues between #115-147 cost me $8-15 each a few years ago when I was trying to catch up on Spawn.

Flex Mentallo (Grant Morrison) is being collected in a HC. The individual issues go for quite a bit. Not sure how or if the collection will affect individual issue prices.

I know that they said they're recoloring the comic for the hardcover, so maybe that affects things.

The trade will certainly test the prices on the back issues, as we all know it,s what keeps these htf books pricey when there are no reprints.
Todays marketplace hot books are almost instantly killed off by trades, but im sure these issues will stay htf and as much as they alway were, but that's just IMO.

That is a very kind thing to say dude.

A little more on the Flex books though, i think the trade coming out may well drudge up a few more sets and individual issues on ebay, make a few folks aware they exist, so we can probably expect some mixed results as the trades hit the stands.
I wont be surprised to see # 1 for $30+ or as low as $15 if too many are up at once a month after release of the trade.
I have seen # 1 for £30 in the Uk so ill look forward to this.

Uncanny X-Force issues

Issues 2,3 & 4 are getting hard to find. Number 4 is ranging from $14.99 to $19.99 in buy-it-now auctions.

Any reason #4 is going for so much. Low print run, or storyline?

I'm not certain but my guess is because of the storyline along with supply and demand. I mean you have Wolverine and Deadpool (two of Marvel's top characters), reality altering wet-works type missions and a good supporting cast of B list mutant assassins.

Also, its the typical ordering strategy of most comic shops. Order a crap load of the first issue then subsequently drop the number of issues ordered starting with the second issue.

With this particular title the demand was still high after the comic shops and online retailers reduced their supply. IMO

Has anybody noticed that a lot of image comics new #1 books had crazy demand in their first couple weeks.

Skull kickers
Green wake
27
Blue estate
Non player
Butcher baker
Morning glories

I am sure there are more. Is this just speculation or just low print runs. I moving toward speculation. Anybody else have thoughts?
