I was actually looking at this book on eBay earlier today. No doubt there's lots of press coming when it hits.

I see a bunch at my LCS. There are also auctions on eBay, some for less than cover.

Yeah, it certainly doesn't seem hot. I'm not sure the media is covering it like some thought it would. If it were the regular Spider-Man, I'm sure the media would be all over it.

This reminds me of the way early Civil War crossovers moved up, and Omac Project 1 was overlooked and moved up in value as well.
Do you remember what Omac was selling for back then?
I'm guessing these trends are short lived while demand is high, in a year or two the price will plummet.
Is that a correct assessment? Kinda like playing the stock market?

I don't remember specifically what Omac was selling for, but I know it was breaking 10 dollars. Omac was a crossover that was overlooked by most stores. Booster Gold 44 also reminds me a bit of FF 536, the Road To Civil War, though FF 536 had a higher print-run and didn't go for as much as Booster Gold 44 has hit.
Yes, I suspect your assessment is indeed correct.

Yes. They'll probably start heading down in value, though, but Flashpoint stuff could remain strong for awhile once the relaunch gets going.

No Booster Gold newer than 38 at my LCS and USM 160 was there in droves. Had to be more than 10 copies on the rack, so I passed.

I'm wondering if the stores will run out. I'm sure their orders were huge by today's standards. They could run out, but I'm waiting on that book to see what happens.
