I believe they were $25. When I walked by he had black and red Solars and a Batman one. Kind of wish I would have bought one, oh well....

Anyways, I did bring my camera to the show so I will be posting some pictures later tonight. Definitely one of the best shows I've been to especially since it was my first time to it.

Yeah it was kind of last minute. I wasn't going to be able to go, but then plans changed so I decided to go check it out. I screwed up though. Got there around 1:30 spent a couple hours checking everything out, went to the DC new 52 panel which ended at 5, then ran out of time to buy all the stuff I wanted to. For some reason I was thinking the show ended at 7 not 6. Oh well, saved me some money probably, but I was kicking myself the rest of the night.

Well as promised, here is my brief report of the show on Saturday. Normally I don't do these reports, but it has been a long time since I've attended a comic-con of this magnitude. Being that this was a last second decision, I didn't get the chance to purchase the tickets online. So when I arrived at 9:30am, I saw this....

Thank god that wasn't the line for the tickets, but that WAS the line to get in to the show for those that already had it. So either way, I had to join in with the crowd which at that time had a line snaked around the entire convention center several times. The show started at 10am but I didn't get in until 10:45 due to the crowd.

Given that I was only planning to be at the show for one day, I ended up deciding to hit the dealers first until it was time for the costume contest at 3pm. There were just too many of them with what seemed like endless amounts of dollar and fifty cent bins. Needless to say, I just didn't have time to check every single dealer. The highlight of going through all that bin diving was finding a few select pre-Unity books, two copies of X-Men #11 Pressman Variants and a full run of Uncanny X-Force #1-11 including 5.1. 3pm came fast and furious and everyone started to flock upstairs to the costume contest. Unfortunately the room could not fit all the people that were lining up to get in, so they had to open up and conjoin two conference rooms together. As a result, I got stuck towards the far left side of the room where all you can see is the endless sea of people.

I just got up and left since there's no possible way of watching it anyways. So for the rest of the show, I went around meeting and taking pictures of the cosplayers. So here they are and let me know which one you guys like best.

hmmm, I wonder if this is a picture of a certain Nightcrawler fan that once stalked a board member here?
