Here's mine... only 57% complete,
with several below 9.8. Oh well... :|

Alright greg, now you need to explain to me the points system. Harby Pink 9.8 worth way more points than a Harby 1 9.8? How did they figure that one out?

Here it is.

Registry Set

I have a Solar 2 9.8, but it's not letting me enter it. SAys it can't find the cert ID. I'll mail them about it. The only other thing missing is a Magnus 13. Never had one pass a pre-screen. Not even a 9.6 :-(. I think I sent some in with the stuff I have in Sarasota, though.

Big thumbs down on the missing vintage magnus 1-4. I only have 3 and 4 9.6s slabbed.

I would like to see A&A 0 Gold on the set as well.

Chris,

Awesome set! My eyes are still bugged out! That Harby 1 9.6 is a sore thumb though, you need to square that away.

I have a Rai 4 that might score a 9.8, want me to send it in with my next batch? I was thinking of getting the on-site grading done at Wizard Philly the First of June. Worked out big in Nov last year...

I had the same problem with a Solar #3 9.8...
The ID wasn't found... interesting... could be from the same batch?

The slot for Archer & Armstrong allows regular OR gold.

I think they use a general scale that's loosely based on Overstreet.

So, Harbinger 0 Pink is worth more than Harbinger 1 in general,
so every grade of Harbinger 0 Pink is worth more than Harbinger 1
in the points system. (It would be complicated to try to keep up
with the market... so points are more "general" than "factual".)
(Actually, since they're just "points", they don't have to correspond to dollars anyway.)

makes sense I guess...just strange to see Harby pink as the most valuable pre-unity in grade when there are, what, dozens of habry pink 9.8s. A 10.0 harby pink is worth a lot more points than a solar 10 10.0 which I would think would be the most desirable high grade pre-unity book around.. :thumb:

If it was 1993, he probably could've still sold it for $15. Maybe he's caught in a time warp? :thumb:

How many points were awarded for that? Hopefully they TOOK points AWAY.

If the person happens to be a board member, I'd like to apologize but say     .

I was also working on a Bronze Age Major and Minor CGC key set but I can't seem to find a place to add it.. :P

Well what's the use having it if I can't brag about it? I think I'll take pictures and brag regardless. Just because my valiant set penis is small doesn't mean I can't make up for it in my bronze age penis set.

Hmmmmmmmm. I should switch out for my Gold 9.8 then - must be worth more 'points'. I think they should be listed separately. You have an opinion, Greg - combined or separate? I asked Arch to add VM 1-4 and separate them out.

Not sure about my solar 2. Asked Arch about that as well.

Harby 1 is a sore spot for me, considering I've submitted over 20. With the 'I need it now' 9.8 price near four figures, it's not going to get squared away anytime soon. :-( :-(

Rai 2 and 4 need upgrades as well. I just bought a rai 2 9.8 but am returning it due to excessive spine cracking. :-( :-(

I have a bunch of stuff in Sarasota, including some rai 4's. If my luck does not hold, I would be in the market. Seems like the time to buy. :-) :-)

I'll add it to my Wizard Philly pile then and let you know how it comes out. Hopefully, I can submit and maybe get it back before the end of the Con. If not, they'll take it back to FL and send it out in a week or so after that.
