Nice Cover - If they got Jelena Kevic-Djurdjevic to do the cover I wonder if her husband Marko Djurdjević is also involved as well.

They said May 5th with an initial launch in the same month. We may get X-O, Harbinger, and Bloodshot all that month if I'm reading the announcement right.

Hope they don't do the same thing DH did and pay far too much for a digital cover and then forget about the inside... That is a very video-game looking X-O.

Looking forward seeing some more. I really wasn't expecting X-O to be the launch figurehead.

Did we read the same article? I didn't see anything about that.

Edit: I see it now. Looks like IGN took bits and pieces of the statement Dino posted in the other thread. They left that part out.

Yeah, definitely very video-game-ish (Acclaim anyone?). I'm not exactly feeling it either, though I do like the sword. Is this artist primarily a cover artist or does he do interiors as well? I hope this book is not entirely digital. X-O is probably the most recognizable of the Valiant characters outside of the GK3, so I understand why they started with that one, and I'm glad they did. Most companies do that to maximize the books appeal.

I like it! The sword is sweet. I am not surprised they went with XO for the initial launch/announcement.

The artist is a she (Jelena Kevic-Djurdjevic). I don't recall ever seeing her do any interior art.

Dino, why no logo on the cover? Just curious - seeing the new logo on the front would have amped it up even more for me.

To all, as someone who has never paid any attention to FCBD before, what's the best way to ensure I get a copy of this? Do you pre-order them through Previews, or beg your LCS to hold one for you, or line up like it's the day after Thanksgiving at 5AM and hope you get one?

You should be able to get one at your local LCS. If this FCBD book is suddenly hard to find..... that would be AMAZING for DNV.
